On this day in History 15th Sept 1923

West Street Baptist celebrate 150th anniversary. The present church was first opened in 1833. Previously the chapel had been at Town Meadows (1775 to 1833). Prior to that services were held in a room attached to the Bull Inn, Yorkshire street (1773-75).
